Adobe Express Ambassadors Program Privacy Policy

This Program Privacy Policy describes Adobe’s privacy practices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of personal information in connection with the Adobe Express Ambassadors Program (the “Program”). This Program Privacy Policy supplements the Adobe Privacy Policy and applies to any apps or websites associated with the Program that link to or reference this Program Privacy Policy. Please also see the Terms of Use which govern your engagement with Adobe in connection with the Program.  To the extent of a conflict between the Adobe Privacy Policy and this Program Privacy Policy, this Program Privacy Policy will supersede for purposes of the conflict.


Personal Information We Collect 

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us and the choices you make. We collect information about you from different sources and in various ways when you participate in the Program, including information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information we infer or generate from other information.

 

Information you provide directly. We collect personal data you provide to us. For example:

  • Identifiers. We collect your name, your professional title, and contact details such as email address, phone number and your social media handles.
  • Demographic data. When you apply to be a part of the Program, we request that you provide your pronouns, hobbies and interests, industry, community groups you are involved in, and similar demographic details.
  • Electronic information. As part of your application and participation in the Program, we collect other information about you such as any information in the materials you submit to us, such as your work, professional and educational background and interests.


Information we collect automatically. We collect information about you and your interaction with Adobe’s apps and websites in connection with the Program automatically. For example, we may collect internet and other electronic activity information including:

  • Identifiers and device information. When you visit our websites or interact with us and our posts (e.g., on Facebook), we collect your Internet Protocol (IP) address and information about your device, including device identifiers (such as MAC address); device type; and your device’s operating system, browser, and other software including type, version, language, settings, and configuration.
  • Usage data. We automatically log your activity on our websites, apps and connected products, including the URL of the website from which you came to our sites, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times, and other details about your use of and actions on our website.


Information we create or generate. We infer new information from data we collect, including using automated means to generate information about your likely preferences or other characteristics (“inferences”). For example, we may use information from your application and activity to infer the types of contests, challenges, events or programs that may be of interest to you in the future.


When you are asked to provide personal information, you may decline. And you may use web browser or operating system controls to prevent certain types of automatic data collection. But if you choose not to provide or allow information that is necessary for certain services or features, those services or features may not be available or fully functional.


Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, mobile analytics, and similar technologies to operate our websites and online services and to help collect data, including usage data, identifiers, and device information. We, and our analytics partners, use these technologies in our websites and online services to collect personal information (such as the pages you visit, the links you click on, and similar usage information, identifiers, and device information) when you use and access our services, including personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services. This information is used to store your preferences and settings, enable you to sign-in, analyze how our websites and apps perform, track your interaction with the site or develop inferences, combat fraud, and fulfill other legitimate purposes. Use of Personal Information

In addition to the uses of personal information disclosed in the Adobe Privacy Policy, we use the personal information we collect for purposes described in this Program Privacy Policy or otherwise disclosed to you. For example, when you participate in the Program, we use the personal information for the following purposes:


  • To fulfill a contract, or take steps linked to a contract.  This includes:
  • Managing your application, reviewing and evaluating your experience, background, and skills to assess your suitability to be enrolled in the Program;
  • Sending you necessary communications (for example, related to Program rewards or expiration of your Points earned through the Program);
  • Administering and operating the program for which you have registered.
  • As required by Adobe to conduct our business and pursue our legitimate interests, in particular:
  • Improving our Program;
  • Analyzing and understanding the applicant pool;
  • Sending information regarding the status of your application and any updates regarding your enrollment in the Program;
  • Assessment and evaluation of any activities conducted in connection with the Program; and
  • Management and administration of rewards and other benefits.
  • Analyzing and evaluating your performance in connection with the activities completed as part of the Program.  
  • Where required, when you give Adobe your consent or otherwise consistent with your choices:
  • Marketing. To communicate with you about new contests, programs, or upcoming events that may be of interest to you.
